Apartment Review for The Hills Apartments - Glendale, CA

It only took us 2 months to realize that this was false advertising.The on site manager Kevin Reid gives you no privacy. The on site maintenance enters apartments while you are out.The apartments constantly need repairs.You are basically being micro;managed by a stranger. He becomes very upset and paranoid when tenants become friendly or socialize. Mailboxes are entered unlawfully as well. We constantly have to hear about his problems with his management company, and boasts of the fact that he has not paid taxes in 12 years. As a taxpayer many of us have taken offense to that.There is no peace and quiet like we expected due to constant renovations of apartments that tenants have vacated due to all the problems. The leaf blowers never stop. We have had our own guests cars towed while they are parked in our own spots "legally" with our permission.The manager has 2 dogs who run into tenants apartments without leashes. Meanwhile there is a strict leash law,actually based on a pet owners common sense. Some tenants (not) myself have been fined $100.00.The list goes on. We are currently vacating, and only hope this review serves to avoid future prospects from winding up in this predicament. Especially since the rents are through the roof.
